A couple of weeks ago, we decided to take a drive up Butterfield Canyon near our home. We had heard from friends that it was beautiful, but never expected the insane view from the top. We could see all of Utah Lake and most of Utah county all the way up to Ogden, not to mention the Kennecott Copper mine. Not to sound cheesy or anything, but it was completely breathtaking. The kids loved throwing rocks into the " huge hole in the ground" a.k.a the copper mine.
