Simply Having A Wonderful Christmas Time!

Christmas was so much fun this year. Brooklyn fully took in everything and was so excited!!! And Blake did so much better than I thought he would. He enjoyed opening every present ( and I mean every present) and played with each for a minute or two before going on to the next. He didn't have any tantrums and just had fun. As for Matt & I, we had perma-smiles the whole time. It really is the one of the most fulfilling things watching your kids have fun for Christmas.

This was the set up for the big day. Brooklyn was so into making cookies and cocoa for Santa, as well as leaving carrots for the reindeer. It was fun for us getting all the gifts in place too. When the kids came out and saw all the gifts in the morning, Blake ran strait to the elephant and started making elephant sounds, and Brooklyn just stared, wide-eyed and mouth dropped, at all the gifts that were left by Santa. (Thank you yard sales!)

They didn't fight one bit over any toys (which is a Christmas miracle). And yes, that's me in the corner with the sweet bed head and Snuggly on. It really is quite comfy as well as attractive.

This was Christmas night at the Bigler's. We had our traditional yummy steak dinner as well as gift exchange. All the little girls had fun putting as many bows on Grandma as they could and Brooklyn had her own fun putting bows on too and dancing around.

And last, but not least, the kids Christmas portraits.

We hope you all had a wonderful Christmas too! And Happy New Year!

We're Off To See The Wizard...

We had such a great Halloween this year. It just gets better and better the older the kids get. We had so much fun dressing up together...especially Matt(what a good sport) and of course Brooklyn couldn't get enough of wearing her costume. Good thing she had a Halloween party just about everyday the week before Halloween. Blake was the cutest little lion we'd ever seen who loved to "Roaaaaaaaaaaaaar" as loud as he could, followed by a huge Blakey smile! It was so fun!

A day before Halloween, we finally got to carve our pumpkins. We almost missed it b/c of Matt's work schedule and luckily he got to be home for Halloween day too! Thanks SkyWest!
Hope everyone had a great Halloween too!

Pumpkin Patch!

This last week we went to this cute little pumpkin patch near our house and let the kids pick out their own pumpkins for the first time. We've always gone to Walmart in the past, but figured Brooklyn's old enough now to really have fun, and she did! Blake wasn't really having fun till we put him in the little wagon. When he was searching around for a pumpkin, he kept tripping and getting little pokey's on his hands.

Yeah for pumpkins!

I think Brooklyn was a little overwhelmed with how many she has to choose from. She picked like 20 pumpkins before we said she could only pick one.
She finally found the perfect one. She's was a little excited.

Blake finally found the perfect pumpkin. Or the perfect pillow.

And we can't go to a pumpkin patch with out playing on the tractor for a while. The kids loved it.

Blake is now as happy as can be riding in the wagon.

Summer #3

One of my favorite summer pass time is slippin' n sliden. And this past summer, we did it a few times with many of the kids in our new neighborhood. We just love our new neighborhood, and the kids, as well as us, have already made some great friends.

And nothing screams summer more than a bunch of kids slurping on popsicles. Yummy! ( Taylor, Blake, Brooklyn, Bo, Mason, Tyson, and Ella)

Flashback #2

No summer would be complete for us without at least one trip down to Cali to stay with my Mom & Dad. It was so great to see all my whole family. Brooklyn absolutely loves to go down to "Nana land" and had so much fun seeing all her cousins. The best part of the trip was seeing my beautiful little cousin Carly get married in the San Diego Temple. It was awesome.

One of our favorite places to go when we are down there is the little theme park called "Adventureland." It is all for kids 10 and under. It's got so many little rides the perfect size for our kids and they just have a blast.

For some time now, my mom has been dying to have pictures taken with her 4 Granddaughters. We had to take advantage of us all being together so we of course brought down our trusty Canon to do the job. It was fun to see them all dressed up together and the girls loved it.
p.s. there is one more flashback coming.

Summer Flashback #1

This last summer was so much fun for us and we have so many fun pictures that I had to back track, so be forewarned- There are a lot of pictures. And there will be more to come.

I couldn't talk about summer w/o our favorite holiday. We started the festivities the night before with fireworks with our neighborhood. On the 4th we went to the West Jordan 4th of July parade. To bad it doesn't hold a candle to the Provo parade. Then we headed down to P-town for the annual 4th family BBQ & fireworks at Grandpa's house. It was a great 4th.

These are pictures of a day at the Herriman Cove park. It kinda turned more into a photo shoot. Blake played with that water pump for like an hour. You would think he would have gotten enough but he still cried when we had to leave. Such a water baby.

We had a great day at Liberty park playing in the fountains ( clothes and all of course), feeding the ducks and playing in the awesome huge play ground.

Stay tuned!
