BBQ Season is Here!

This week we had not one, but 2 Bigler BBQ's. The first was with the Bigler clan for Sunday dinner. The second was with the Carlin clan on Monday. We had a great time at both .

This is Blake with his new BFF cousin Aiden Jack. What a difference 2 1/2 months makes!

I can already imagine the trouble these 2 are going to get in together.

This picture was too cute not to post.

Here with my cousins Kelly, Mark, Carly and her friend Peter. It was fun to have my Aunt Jan over too, who was visiting from Cali.
Two peas in a pod is what Brooklyn and Jackson have been. They had so much fun together getting tossed and swung in the blanket, and doing somersaults in the grass.

Father's Day Fun

I have to say I love Father's Day. Actually, any day that allows me to buy things(guilt free) for my man, and spoil him, is a good day. It is so fun to do things for him because he appreciates it so much. Just one of the many reasons he is the best. Oh yeah, did I mention he is also an awesome daddy! Our kiddies can't get enough of him. We are so lucky!
Matt's first gift was a photo book from the kids. For his 2nd gift, Blake hand delivered a pair of Angels baseball tickets to his Daddy while in uniform (uniform courtesy of Grandma & Papa). And yes, for all you Bigler's out there, they are
Angels vs. Yankees
tickets. Needless to say, Matt was very excited.

That night, we were lucky enough to have one of the greatest dad's ever known over for dinner. Blake couldn't wait to wear this shirt, just for Papa.

Our little slugger
The most wonderful thing about Father's Day this year was the birth of our new nephew Aiden Jack. We are so excited about his arrival in our family!
Welcome Aiden!

California Here We Come!

We just got back from yet another wonderful trip to California. We had a wonderful time hanging out with family and friends and very much enjoyed the perfect weather. Just a few of the highlight of our trip are pictured below.

This was Blake's first plane ride so we had to document it. He did great, as did Brooklyn, who loves to fly. My wonderful mom flew back to O.C. with us, which was much needed with 2 small kids. And Matt got to escort us all the way to the gate, even though he didn't fly down with us. (He flew down later in the week.) I got to say, I love being married to a pilot!

This was at the splash pool in Ladera Ranch where Michelle & Ben live. Brooklyn had a blast playing in the water with Nana, and cousin's Jacob and Sierra.

No trip to Cali would be complete without a few days down at the M.V. lake near my parents house.

Turns out Matt is quite the sand sculptor. And Sierra loved his acrobatic skills.

A lake adventure is not complete without taking Grampy's boat for a spin.

Brooklyn found a partner in crime with cousin Sierra. She absolutely loved playing dress up with her and followed her around all weekend.
This is a quick video of the fairy princess's in action.

The biggest highlight of the week for me was seeing my best friend from High school, Tammy. We haven't seen each other since my wedding 5 years ago. It was so great to see her and we had a great time catching up.

Blake's Blessing Day

Today our beautiful little man was blessed in church. It was such a wonderful & special day and we were so lucky to have many family members there to support Blake. Despite having a nasty cold, Blake was such a trooper and did great during the blessing. Actually, he was barley fussy at all, even though he had some serious projectile vomiting/spit-ups because of his coughing. Including a huge one right before church started that got all over his little white outfit, which added a bit of stress as you can imagine. Luckily, we managed to get him there on time.

Our proud little family

Almost everyone who shared in Blake's special day( minus Kelly, Mark, Jackson & Katelyn)
