Christmas was so much fun this year. Brooklyn fully took in everything and was so excited!!! And Blake did so much better than I thought he would. He enjoyed opening every present ( and I mean every present) and played with each for a minute or two before going on to the next. He didn't have any tantrums and just had fun. As for Matt & I, we had perma-smiles the whole time. It really is the one of the most fulfilling things watching your kids have fun for Christmas.
This was the set up for the big day. Brooklyn was so into making cookies and cocoa for Santa, as well as leaving carrots for the reindeer. It was fun for us getting all the gifts in place too. When the kids came out and saw all the gifts in the morning, Blake ran strait to the elephant and started making elephant sounds, and Brooklyn just stared, wide-eyed and mouth dropped, at all the gifts that were left by Santa. (Thank you yard sales!)
They didn't fight one bit over any toys (which is a Christmas miracle). And yes, that's me in the corner with the sweet bed head and Snuggly on. It really is quite comfy as well as attractive.
This was Christmas night at the Bigler's. We had our traditional yummy steak dinner as well as gift exchange. All the little girls had fun putting as many bows on Grandma as they could and Brooklyn had her own fun putting bows on too and dancing around.
